2020 Jeep Cherokee

The 2020 Jeep Cherokee is available in eight trim packages including the Latitude, Latitude Plus, Altitude, Upland, Limited, Trailhawk, High Altitude, and Trailhawk Elite. All Cherokees are equipped with LED taillights and daytime running lights. Roof rails, heated mirrors, and a rearview camera are also standard. The exterior paint options vary from model to model but include bright white, granite crystal metallic, velvet red pearl, blue shade, and diamond black crystal.

There are three engines available for the Jeep Cherokee. A 2.4-liter I-4 engine is standard on the Latitude, Latitude Plus, Altitude, and Limited. The Upland, Trialhawk, High Altitude, and Trailhawk Elite are equipped with a 3.2-liter V-6 engine. The 3.2-liter V-6 is available as an option for the Latitude, Latitude Plus, and Altitude. A 2.0-liter I-4 Turbo engine is an available option for all models except for the Latitude and Upland. All engines are paired to a nine-speed transmission. With the exception of the Upland, Trailhawk, and Trailhawk Elite, all models are available as front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. The Upland, Trailhawk, and Traillhawk Elite are only available as a four-wheel-drive vehicle.

All four-wheel-drive Latitude, Latitude Plus, Altitude, Upland, Limited, and High Altitude models are equipped with the Jeep Active Drive I 4x4 system. The Trailhawk and Trailhawk Elite are equipped with the full-time Jeep Active Drive II 4x4 System. Every Jeep 4x4 includes the Selec-Terrain Traction Management System that allows you to set your terrain to auto, snow, sport, or sand/mud. The Trailhawk and Trailhawk Elite are made to travel off-road and have skid plates to protect the fuel tank, underbody, and front suspension. The Trailhawk and Trailhawk Elite come with Selec-Speed Control that allows them to crawl and maintain traction when ascending or descending steep inclines. When properly equipped, the front-wheel-drive models can tow a maximum of 2,000 pounds and the four-wheel-drive models can tow 4,500 pounds.

The Limited, High Altitude, and Trailhawk Elite are fitted with leather-trimmed seats. All other models have premium cloth or vinyl seats. All Jeep Cherokees have a 60/40 split-fold reclining rear seat. Cargo space is 24.6-cubic feet behind the second row and 54.9 cubic-feet behind the first row. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity are standard on all Cherokee models. Steering-wheel-mounted audio controls are optional on the Latitude and standard on all other models. The Latitude, Latitude Plus, Altitude, and Upland models feature Uconnect 4 with a seven-inch touch screen display. The Trailhawk, Limited, and Trailhawk Elite also have Uconnect 4, but move up to an 8.4-inch touch screen. The High Altitude is equipped with Uconnect 4C NAV (navigation) and an 8.4-inch touch screen.

The 2020 Jeep Cherokee is equipped with a suite of advanced air-bags. Electronic stability control and roll mitigation are standard on all models. All Cherokees have Jeep's Enhanced Accident Response System that automatically unlock doors, disconnect engine fuel, flash hazard lights, and turn on interior lights in the event of an accident.
