Trim Levels
The 2021 Dodge Charger is available in seven trim levels: SXT, GT, R/T, Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat Widebody, and SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody. This four-door muscle car sedan has an aerodynamic design with sleek lines and a flying buttress rear window. The Widebody trim levels have a wider, athletic stance with a menacing front grille, functioning air inlet, and 20-inch aluminum wheels. The R/T trim has its own unique badging, fender, and grille.
Engine
There are four powertrains available for the 2021 Charger. The base engine is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 that gets 300 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque. The 392 HEMI V-8 engine is standard for the Scat Pack trim and cranks out 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. It can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just four seconds. The 5.7-liter HEMI V-8, which is standard on the R/T trim, gets 370 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque. If power is what you're after, opt for the Hellcat Redeye trim, which is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI SRT Hellcat V-8 engine. This engine pumps out an impressive 717 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. The engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
The 2021 Charger is available as either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. A four-piston Brembo brake system is available to provide better steering control when braking or in slippery conditions. A sport-tuned suspension, which includes sway bars, springs, and Bilstein high-performance shock absorbers, creates a smooth ride.
On SRT trims, an SRT Power Chiller directs air-conditioning refrigerant from the interior to the chiller unit, then to the heat exchangers inside the supercharger.
Interior
Inside the 2021 Charger is seating for up to five passengers. The driver information digital cluster displays pertinent information front and center. Start your engine with the touch of the push button start/stop feature. Available Uconnect 4C NAV and SiriusXM Guardian keep you connected and accessing your favorite apps with ease. The performance shifter makes you feel in command as your barrel down the road.
Safety Features
A full suite of active and passive safety features are included or available for the 2021 Dodge Charger. Available features include full-speed forward collision warning with active braking, LaneSense lane departure warning with lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, and automatic high-beam headlamps. The ParkView rear back up camera makes it easy to see what's behind you when backing up and the ParkSense rear park assist system helps you park with ease. The Ready Alert Braking system detects a quick release of the accelerator and prepares the brakes for a panic stop.
