2022 Ram 1500

The Ram 1500 is available as a quad cab with a standard bed or a crew cab with a short or standard bed. You can choose from eight trim levels: the Tradesman, Tradesman HFE, Big Horn, Laramie, Rebel, Limited Longhorn, Limited, and TRX. Various special-edition models, such as the BackCountry Edition and 10th Anniversary Edition, are also offered.

With the base trim, you receive impressive standard features such as power-adjustable and heated mirrors, 18-inch steel wheels, active grille shutters, and automatic headlamps. The Tradesman HFE features a Mopar roll-up tonneau cover, 20-inch aluminum wheels, new trailer hitch lights, and wheel-to-wheel side steps. Fog lights and 18-inch aluminum wheels are added with the Big Horn trim, whereas the Laramie trim offers power-folding mirrors with memory and LED exterior lighting.

The off-road-focused Rebel trim is equipped with 33-inch multi-terrain tires, off-road fender flares, a locking rear axle, and a sport performance hood. Apart from a spray-in bed liner and 20-inch aluminum wheels, the Limited Longhorn features a dual rear exhaust with bright tips and front tow hooks. The Limited trim provides a four-corner air suspension and power running boards, while the TRX trim comes with a black powder-coated front bumper and a performance hood with a Black-Out decal.

You can choose from four powertrains with the Ram 1500. The standard 3.6-liter V-6 engine provides an output of 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. Next in line is an available 5.7-liter V-8 engine, which generates 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. For a massive output of 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, opt for the TRX trim, which is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine.

You can also opt for an available 3.0-liter V-6 diesel engine, which delivers 260 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission comes standard with all powertrains. Most trims are available with either a rear-wheel-drive or a four-wheel-drive system.

When equipped with the 5.7-liter V-8 engine, the Ram 1500 can tow up to 12,750 pounds. You can opt for various new available features, which will make your towing experience safer and easier. Enhanced visibility, for instance, is provided with the available Trailer 360-degree surround-view camera and a trailer hitch light.

The cabin of the Ram 1500 is stylish, well-built, and fitted with premium materials. You also receive roomy seats, especially if you opt for a Crew Cab. With the higher trim, you receive plenty of modern tech, such as an infotainment system with an 8.4-inch or 12-inch display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, navigation, and an Alpine nine-speaker premium audio system. Available interior features include dual-zone automatic climate control, heated and ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and heated second-row seats.

With the Ram 1500, you can opt for available driver-assist features such as a surround-view camera, a blind-spot monitor with cross-path detection, forward-collision warning with active braking, and a park-assist system.
