2021 Ram 2500 in Front of Empty Field

4 Impressive Features of the 2021 RAM 2500

Sometimes you just need a heavy-duty, full-size pickup that can handle all the work that no other vehicle can. That's where the 2021 RAM 2500 comes in. It can tackle the toughest of tasks easily, and it has several impressive features to prove it. We're going to explore those for you now to see if you find this truck as fantastic as we do. 1. Highly Worthy Towing Abilities If you fit this truck with its most powerful engine - the Cummins Turbo-Diesel - you can avail yourself of the huge maximum towing capacity of 19,680 pounds. This is an excellent capacity and lives up to many competitors and even beats a few of them. The other engine options also give you impressive towing, although they can handle a little less than the toughest engine can. more 2. Truck Bed Triumph If the towing above isn't what you need, perhaps you need to haul a few smaller loads. The truck bed can handle up to 4,010 pounds, and that's not even with the toughest engine, but with a V8 option. You can get close to the max capacity with other engine options, too. So far we haven't seen a higher max capacity for a truck bed of a similarly sized truck, so this is mightily, mightily impressive. You can carry this load around and you won't feel a difference in the performance thanks to the Auto-Level Rear Air Suspension, a highly unique feature for a truck of this caliber. Out of all competitor models, the RAM 2500 is the only one that has this uniqueness, which makes it a desirable truck for someone who wants the best and most exclusive on the market. 3. Surprisingly Wonderful Handling This truck is huge. It's a beast! Yet it handles like something much smaller. You get excellent road feedback so you can adjust your driving as needed, and the maneuverability is second to none in a truck of this class. The ride feels smooth and there are no braking distances even on wet roads - of course, the tires help with this too, so if you ever need to replace them be sure you get your parts directly from your dealer! 4. Lots of Passenger Space Sometimes truck cabins can get a little cramped, as all of the focus is on the truck bed. That's not true of the RAM 2500, which has almost 41 inches of headroom in the front, and almost 40 inches of it in the rear. And, unlike many trucks, there's lots of legroom in the rear too, at 40.2 inches. You're sure to be comfortable in this truck even when it's full to the brim with passengers and the truck bed is stuffed with cargo.Do you want to take this incredible truck out for a spin? Come down to Tom O'Brien Greenwood so we can get you set up for a test drive. Perhaps driving this truck will make you fall in love with it and all the features discussed above. Red 2021 Jeep Gladiator Driving Down a Hill

4 Features to Love about the 2021 Jeep Gladiator

The Jeep Gladiator first entered the market in 2019. This marked the first time that Jeep had offered a pickup truck in its lineup since the 1990s. This year, the 2021 Jeep Gladiator gives drivers the off-road prowess and versatility they've been craving. This four-door truck seats up to five people and provides ample space in both the truck bed and the cabin. The Gladiator is the best option for a midsize truck that transitions easily between work and play. 1. High-Tech Infotainment System Every trim level of the 2021 Gladiator is packed with state-of-the-art technology. Each model offers something slightly different, and various options are made available to you during the buying process. Depending on these options and the trim level you choose, your Gladiator will come equipped with an HD color display in either a 7.0-inch or 8.4-inch touchscreen. This setup includes Uconnect, navigation, and Bluetooth, as well as smartphone app integration. Seamlessly connect your compatible smartphone with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay and make hands-free calls or stream music to your premium Alpine sound system. more 2. Removable Roof and Doors As the only convertible truck on the market this year, the 2021 Gladiator delivers a truly immersive experience with its removable roof and doors. Drivers and passengers will have the ultimate open-air traveling experience thanks to this unexpected and thrilling feature. Various trim levels offer hard and soft top options that make for distinct and thrilling excursions. Your views of nature will be magnificently unobstructed. 3. Classic Body Style Jeep has a reputation for building capable vehicles with rugged body styles. These unique design elements date back to when Jeep vehicles were being built exclusively for military use. The Gladiator's tough and boxy body feels almost retro in the modern market, and its strong, armored outer shell makes it look like it could be mistaken as a military service vehicle. As the competition becomes rounder with smooth, contoured lines, the 2021 Gladiator stays true to its workhorse nature and iconic styling. 4. Best-In-Class Towing The 2021 Gladiator is equipped with a gasoline engine that receives a best-in-class tow rating. Drivers who choose the right trim level and available features will find that their Gladiator will be able to tow up to 7,650 pounds. This is on top of the truck bed's impressive payload of 1,700 pounds. Available features like the Integrated Trailer-Brake Controller and rear-view camera work to further magnify this pickup's towing capabilities. Load that truck bed with luggage and hitch up your boat for the ultimate family road trip. Jeep's 2021 Gladiator gives drivers a particularly unique experience, surpassing all other midsize trucks in its class. There's nothing else quite like this convertible truck on the market. 2021 Red Jeep Grand Cherokee Driving Through a Puddle

4 Impressive Features of the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee

The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee caps off an incredible run for the fourth generation of Grand Cherokees. Each year, Jeep iterates and finds new ways to make the Grand Cherokee even better than before. While a Jeep from a few years ago might look similar, it's nothing compared to what you'll get with the 2021 model. Here are some of the features that people rave about after their first test drive. 1. The Best Grand Cherokee Engines Yet It takes a lot of power to move over 4,000 pounds of Jeep. The previous generation's V6 left drivers wanting more, so Jeep responded by upping the output to a fear-inducing 295 horsepower. With that much energy under the hood, the 2021 Grand Cherokee can reach 60mph in just 6.7 seconds, which would have been unthinkable before. You'll feel confident as you cruise onto the highway with the V6. But Jeep didn't stop there. They grabbed their 5.7l Hemi V8 off the shelf and put it into the Grand Cherokee too. Available as an upgrade, this V8 provides a blistering 360 horsepower capable of towing up to 7200 pounds. If you're looking for power, the Grand Cherokee has it in spades. If you're looking for an SUV that doubles as a sports car, check out the Grand Cherokee SRT. With an even more powerful V8 delivering 470 horsepower, get ready to turn your knuckles white as you hold on tight. more 2. An Unparalleled Transmission Power is great, but controlling it is even more important. The Grand Cherokee delivers power smoothly and precisely with its 8-speed automatic transmission. This isn't your minivan's automatic, however. This German 8-speed has been carefully tuned for the Grand Cherokee to provide optimal torque at low gears, perfect for off-road use. When you need to save gas on the highway, it uses its higher gears. In a fifth of a second, this transmission can drop as many as 5 gears at once, meaning that if you need to suddenly pass someone you'll get access to a ton of torque in a fraction of a second. It's also highly efficient, helping the 2021 Grand Cherokee get an impressive 25mpg combined city and highway. 3. Creature Comforts for City Dwellers Speaking of the city, we know most Jeep drivers aren't going to be tearing up the trail every day. You still need a comfortable ride for your daily commute. You can upgrade your interior to include heated leather seats and a better sound system for the most enjoyable daily driver possible. The Grand Cherokee really is one of the few cars that can do it all. 4. Driver Assistance Options The ProTech Safety and Security packages are optional and will riddle your Jeep with sensors and safety features to help you avoid collisions. If you choose the Trailhawk trim model, you'll even get driver-assist features that help you when you're off the pavement, such as hill descent control. Overall, the 2021 Grand Cherokee has a lot to offer. To see it for yourself, visit Tom O'Brien Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Greenwood Indiana today. Image via jeep.com

2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Driving Down a Road

What Is Covered in Your Jeep Warranty?

When you first buy your Jeep, you aren't thinking about the warranty, since you don't expect anything to go wrong. However, there may be a time when you need to know what is covered in your Jeep warranty. Fortunately, Jeep offers a very comprehensive warranty to protect your investment. Basic Warranty Your Jeep is covered for the cost of all parts and labor that are necessary to repair any defective component that was provided by the manufacturer (Chrysler Motors). The basic warranty covers all parts except tires or items that were added after the vehicle left the manufacturing plant (i.e. customizations or aftermarket accessories), so you don't have to track down a list of covered components to verify whether or not they're covered. You don't pay a cent for these repairs. Towing costs are also covered under the basic warranty, within limits. Your Jeep must be towed to the nearest Chrysler dealership if a defective part makes your vehicle undrivable. The basic warranty goes into effect on the day you take ownership of the Jeep and ends when you hit 36,000 miles or have owned the vehicle for 36 months, whichever comes first. Brakes, wiper blades, and clutch disks are covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. more Powertrain Warranty All new Jeeps come with a five-year or 60,000-mile powertrain warranty, which covers the engine; transmission; and rear-, two-, and four-wheel-drive systems. Specifically, some of the parts that are covered under the powertrain warranty include the timing chain, oil pan, water pump, engine control module, transfer case, transmission mount, axles, and constant velocity joint, among others. These parts should last longer than the parts under the basic warranty, so they are covered longer as well. Corrosion Warranty If you need to replace any of the sheet metal on your Jeep because it is rusted through (meaning, there are holes in the metal), the repairs will be covered for 36 months. There is no mileage limit for this part of the warranty; however, the damage must be the result of rust or corrosion, and not from stone chips, scratches, or environmental causes. Outer body panels that are finished and painted are covered for five years or 100,000 miles. Emissions Warranty In compliance with federal law, certain emissions components are covered for at least two years or 24 months, whichever comes first. These parts include air system controls, the electronic fuel injection system, the fuel cap and tank assembly, oxygen sensors, spark plugs, exhaust pipes, exhaust manifold, transmission control module, and vacuum hoses, among others. Some parts, like the catalytic converter and powertrain control module, are covered for 80,000 miles or eight years, whichever comes first. Claiming a Repair Under Warranty To claim a repair under warranty, you must bring your vehicle in to an authorized Chrysler dealership as soon as a problem is noticed. Chrysler can deny warranty coverage if it's apparent the repair is necessary due to neglect, abuse, or lack of maintenance, Your repairs will be completed within a reasonable time frame, which is not to exceed 30 days. If you've noticed anything on your Jeep that needs to be repaired, check to see if it should be covered under the warranty. Bring your car into Tom O'Brien Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram - Greenwood to have any necessary repairs made quickly and correctly. Image via jeep.com

Blue Ram 1500 Profile

Why Critics Are Raving About the 2021 RAM 1500

Every year, there is stiff competition between the major truck manufacturers for who will have the most desirable truck that year. With so much in common, these trucks need to differentiate in terms of power, ride quality, looks, and features. In 2021, the RAM 1500 is the obvious winner as it manages to exceed all expectations in each of these categories. Ample Power The 1500 is powered by your choice of V6 and V8 engines that are paired with an electric hybrid system. It has the power to carry payloads of 2320 pounds and tow 12,750 pounds. It may not be the most powerful in its class, but it's more than enough for most people looking at a half-ton pickup. The 1500 isn't just for hauling and towing, though. It can also put down some decent straight-line speed. It can get from 0 to 60 in a respectable 6.6 seconds. It might not be a drag racer, but that's not really why you get a pickup anyway. more Improved Ride Quality One area all trucks have improved on in recent years is in their ride quality. This is one of the main party pieces of the RAM. The power of the engine is controlled by tight steering that feels responsive and fun to drive. In the suspension department, RAM has truly upped their game over other pickups. The 1500 comes standard with coil springs or optional air springs. These springs even out your RAM's ride while never making it feel too bouncy or disconnected from the road.  As well, the air coils even let you adjust the ride height, which will be useful for any offroaders. Flashy Interior and Exterior From the outside, the RAM looks like a powerful, capable pickup. It uses strong lines and an aggressive grill to make it stand out in the 2021 truck lineup. It doesn't just look good, though. The truck bed has a split-folding tailgate and optional cargo-bed bins, which make hauling in this truck as easy as possible. On the inside, the 1500 looks almost luxurious. Top-level trims come with premium materials like leather and wood, and everything feels well laid out and well-made. The interior also comes up with a touch infotainment system, multiple storage cubbies, and enough room for all of your passengers. A Truck-load of Features RAM has done a lot to throw in desirable features that will make your driving experience truly spectacular. On the inside, you get tech like smartphone pairing, a mobile hotspot, and charging points for all of your devices. The 1500 also has several safety and driver-assistance features available for your new truck. This includes automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, and emergency automatic braking. It would be nice if these features all came standard, but it's good that they are available to you if you are concerned about staying safe on the road. Nowadays, a good truck needs to do so much more than just tow and haul. We want trucks that are fun to drive, good-looking, and chock-full of features. The 1500 has all of this and more.
