Silver 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid in DrivewayWhen it comes to minivans, the 2020 Chrysler Pacifica sits at the top of its class. The winner of multiple awards, like PARENTS magazine’s “Best Eco Pick” and AAA Car Guide’s top pick in the SUV/Minivan category, this car provides plenty of reasons why it should be at the top of your shopping list.

Safety

Chrysler has always focused on safety, and it is no different with the 2020 Pacifica. Standard in all models is a blind-spot monitor, a rear automated emergency braking feature, and rear parking sensors.
The optional advanced SafetyTec package takes it to the next level with adaptive cruise control, a parallel and perpendicular park assist for those tight situations, a 360-degree exterior-camera, and lane-departure and forward-collision warning systems.

Interior Comfort and Cargo Space

The Pacifica has plenty of space inside for things and people, making it the perfect family road trip car. It offers seating capacity for up to eight passengers that includes second-row captain’s chairs and third-row Stow ‘n Go seating. There are plenty of configuration options as well. Child seats can be installed on either of the second-row captain’s chairs, while the third row can hold two additional child seats.
Other features that are sure to please both mom and dad include plenty of cargo space in the back for several suitcases, hands-free sliding doors, a liftgate, and the very useful and handy built-in onboard vacuum cleaner (the vacuum is standard on Limited models only).

Infotainment

If you’re tired of answering the “Are we there, yet?” question being thrown at you from the back, the Pacifica has all the bells and whistles to keep the kids distracted during that long drive.
The advanced infotainment system is intuitive and kid-friendly, and the available Uconnect Theater entertainment system features two 10-inch seatback touchscreens where backseat passengers can watch videos or play built-in games that include (ironically) Are We There Yet? and the License Plate Game.

Fuel Efficiency

The Pacifica comes in above average in its class in terms of fuel efficiency, getting around 31 miles per gallon on the highway and 33 miles per gallon around town. If fuel efficiency is a top concern, the Pacifica Hybrid model can track 33 miles on electric power and is rated at 84 MPGe combined.
The hybrid can get up to almost 24 miles of electric-only driving on the highway before the gasoline engine needs to kicks in. Regardless of which model you choose, your wallet will notice that you’re making fewer trips to the gas station.
There are plenty of options when it comes to family SUVs or minivans, and we understand how the decision can be a difficult one.
