Power
The 2020 Ram 1500 Classic uses a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that generates 305 horsepower. The Tradesman has a 26-gallon fuel tank that gets 19 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway, while Express and Warlock owners enjoy 17 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. All three trims use an eight-speed automatic transmission, and you also have the option of either rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive.
Bed Options
As you narrow down your trim choices, take a minute to consider how much room you’ll need. The Tradesman is available as a traditional three-seat cab with either a 6-foot-4 bed or an impressive 8-foot bed. There is also a quad cab version that seats six and has a 6-foot-4 bed. The six-person crew cab comes with either a 5-foot-7 bed or a 6-foot-4 bed.
The Express is available as a traditional cab with a 6-foot 4 bed. You can also get a quad cab with the same bed. The crew cab model has a 5-foot 7 bed. If you choose the Warlock trim, you have two different cab and box options. The quad cab has the 6-foot 4 bed while the crew cab has a 5-foot 7 bed.
RamBox
Keep your tools and equipment organized with the available RamBox storage system. The addition of this storage system adds a divider to your bed that can store golf clubs, kayak paddles, or fishing gear. It also includes four tie-down points to help you secure your cargo. LED lighting is added to the bed of the truck so you can see your tools and gear any time of day or night.
Interior
The interior of your new cab includes plenty of storage space for smaller items. You have a full-length center console for things you want to reach quickly. If you choose the crew cab, there is a built-in storage area in the floor of the cab between the front and back seats. The lower glove box locks for you to keep valuables protected while you are away from the truck.
You can connect either your Apple or Android device to stay in touch on the road through the Uconnect infotainment system. The infotainment system includes satellite radio as well as a backup camera and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. If you choose the Uconnect 4C system, you’ll have access to advanced navigation features, such as 3D graphics of landmarks and terrain. You can also upgrade your driver information center to a 7-inch high definition display.
