1. Lake Haven Retreat

This incredible place is the perfect campsite to enjoy with the family over a weekend or an extended stay. Lake Haven Retreat offers a wide range of facilities to accommodate RVs, tents, fishing, and paddleboat rentals. This campsite offers storage for guests, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi and cable access.

You can book your next special event at the local hall and outdoor spaces, including washrooms, showers, and laundry services. Lake Haven Retreat is close to lots of attractions.

2. Johnson County Fairground Campground

The Johnson County Fairground Campground is a wonderful place to book your next family vacation. It’s open yearly from April until October and offers fantastic events from agricultural fairs and livestock auctions to family-friendly contests and entertainment.

Storage is available for RVs and boats, and there’s a venue for rental to host your next party. Reservations are not required, though recommended during popular events.

3. Three-Point Lake Campgrounds

This spot offers an opportunity to relax in nearby Mooresville, IN. The campsite offers excellent lake access for fishing, lots of outdoor space for hikes, and a quiet, enjoyable atmosphere to enjoy a bonfire with friends and family.

The on-site staff is friendly and helpful to guests, and there are plenty of great restaurants and attractions close to the campgrounds.

4. S&H Campground

S&H Campground offers a fun and down-to-earth place to reserve your next campsite vacation. This fabulous family-friendly spot offers a variety of options for your stay, including cabin rentals, tent spaces, and RV trailer hookups.

S&H Campground features hiking trails and streams, a lake for fishing, fire pits, three playgrounds, and full amenities, including showers and washrooms. Local sports and holiday events are featured from spring to fall every year.

5. Whittaker Campground – Camp Atterbury

Camp Atterbury is the premier place for tent and RV campsites at a reasonable price. Each campsite offers generous space for easy access and an enjoyable experience. The on-site staff is attentive, friendly, and you’ll find all the supplies and last-minute items you need to get the most out of your visit.

6. Brown County State Park

Brown County State Park offers one of the most enjoyable outdoor experiences with lots of great activities. Horseback riding, hiking, and cycling trails, and swimming. The site is close to local shopping, arts and crafts, dining, and many adventure tours and ideas to explore during your visit.

The campsites are open seasonally, though some of the trails for hiking are open year-round, making it an ideal spot for a full-day trip anytime to enjoy nature and local wildlife.
